Yesterday we had the pleasure of watching a lot of talented bartenders perform at the Don Papa Rum Cocktail Competition at Bar25 in Copenhagen. The main prize was a trip to Manila in Don Papa's home country, the Philippines - and the competition was fierce. The theme of the competition was "Don Papa's Mystery Box" and the bartenders were judged by originality, presentation, and taste and balance.
We are pleased to announce the winner: Elliott H Jayes from Bar7. The name of Elliotts cocktail is "The Thriller in Manilla" and is made in the following way:
