This bottle celebrates a special event that took place at the House of Alexandre Bonnet back in 2012 during the renovation of a building on the property. During the renovation, a treasure was found consisting of 497 old gold coins from 1834 up to 1928. One year later, the coins was sold in Florida for the total amount of 800,000 Euro. Half of it went to an employee of Alexandre Bonnet, the same one who found the coins a year earlier. He is still working on the farm to this day.
The blend is made of different vintages but contains a good deal of 2004 Chardonnay.
