Young Casks Collection – Single Cask
Here you get a delicious whisky from the Tobermory Distillery in the Island region, Scotland. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2018, and is 9 years old. It has been aged in a Bourbon Hogshead cask with the number 18-0902. There are only 302 bottles of this bottling. Due to the relatively young age, the whisky for balance has been supplied with water and bottled at 48.8% alcohol.
Young Casks Collection is a series of whisky that is of a younger nature and is also supplied with water to create the perfect balance. The series contains whisky between 5-12 years from many different distilleries - all single cask.
On the island of Mull, Tobermory Distillery is the only one on the island. The distillery produces both light and heavy peated whisky. The whisky that holds lots of smoke is called Ledaig (pronounced Led-chig). Tobermory is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, and could in 2018 celebrate 220th anniversary.
