Hidden Casks Collection – Single Cask – Cask Strength
Here you get a delicious single malt whisky from Islay, Bruichladdich Distillery. It was distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2018, and is 15 years old. It has been aged on a Madeira Butt with the number 18-1501. There are only 341 bottles of this bottling. The whisky has been bottled at 54.1% alcohol.
The Hidden Casks Collection is a series of whiskey found in unusual locations in the warehouses. The series contains only whisky that is under 20 years of age, just to show that old whisky is not always the best.
Bruichladdich Distillery produces three different types of whiskey; Bruichladdich (unpeated), Port Charlotte (heavily peated) and Octomore (super heavily peated). Unpeated whisky is rarely among the distilleries on Islay, and it is only Bruichladdich and Bunnahabhain who do it.
