Ledaig whisky, produced at the Tobermory Distillery on the island of Mull, is known for its dirty and heavily-peated style. At the distillery, both unpeated and peated whiskey are produced. The peated whisky has been named after the first and original name of the distillery, Ledaig. The name Tobermory did not arrived until later, when the old distillery was reopened after being shut down for many years.
This Ledaig is bottled at cask strength and holds 53.6% alcohol. The whisky was distilled back in 2008, after which it was transferred to a first fill Banyul wine barrel. In 2018, the whisky was bottled, giving a total maturity of 10 years for this whisky.
