The Glen Elgin Distillery is located 10 miles south of the place where the Lossie River comes out to sea, and about 40 miles east of Inverness. Founded at the end of the whisky boom in 1898, it was built and designed by the remarkable distillery architect Charles Doig of Elgin.
This single cask bottling is distilled in 1995 and has spent 20 years in cask. It is bottled at 51.9% alcohol and only produced in 185 copies.
