Located in Speyside, Benrinnes produces about 3,500,000 liters of whisky a year. The vast majority of this production is included in blends, and it is very limited how many bottles are published by Benrinnes only. It is also not every day you see an independent bottling of Benrinnes, making this 30 year single cask bottling a bit of a gem. If you have never tasted pure Benrinnes, we can inform you that its interesting, including dark chocolate, fresh meat, dry fruit and sulfur. This is considered by blenders to be some of the finest whisky to work with.
There are only 480 bottles of this single malt whiskey, which comes from cask number 2268. The whiskey has also been distilled in 1984, and bottled in 2015, which gives a storage time of 30 years. This is a single cask whisky that has been bottled at 56.6% alcohol.
