This single cask Croftengea whisky from Loch Lomond was distilled back in 2007 and bottled in 2018. The whisky was aged for 11 years on a 1st fill Ruby Port Wine Barrique. In the bottle you will find an alcohol content of 58.7 %.
The color of the whisky is even pink. Very special color, but a color that matches the taste incredibly well. Although the bottle is marked as a "highly peated whiskey" it also feels fruity at the same time.
Croftengea is a peated whisky from Loch Lomond Distillery - indeed, one of the most smoked whiskys produced on site. Like "Ledaig" is a whisky style from Tobermory, "Croftengea" is the same for Loch Lomond.
