Ardmore Distillery has distilled whisky since 1898, and while the world has changed a lot, very little has changed around the distillery.
In the Scotch Universe Whisky series, you can experience hand-picked whiskys from all regions of Scotland - some smoky and stormy as a star collision, and some calm and balanced as the dark side of the moon. They do not use chill-filtering or caramel color, and all bottlings have a naturally high alcohol content. What the series especially distinguishes is the use of wine barrels. Often you will see bottles in the series stored on ex wine barrels; eg port wine, sherry, red wine, but also rum and whisky casks. There is a focus on special barrels and that is one of the things that make Scotch Universe Whiskey different.
