Bunnahabhain (pronounced 'BOO-na-HAven') was founded in 1881 by William Robertson and the James and William Greenlees brothers, and is today a very soft and easily drinkable Islay Malt. The slightly peculiar name "Bunnahabhain" is Gaelic and means "the mouth of the river." Bunnahabhain has been closed and reopened twice in the twentieth century.
This bottling from Antique Lions of Spirits is 28 years old and only 388 copies exist! In addition to being a magnificent glass of old whiskey, it is also an extravagant design studio. Craftsmanship, art and taste come together.
The whiskey comes from a refill sherry cask and has been maturing for 28 years. The whisky is bottled at 41.3% alcohol. Distilled back in 1989 and bottled in 2017 - a very exclusive whisky from Islay.
