This unique bottling is distilled by the Foursquare Rum Distillery, which means the rum is a blend of pot and column distilled rums. That said, it's still a single cask bottling. Richard Seale is known for mixing his distillates before filling up the barrels, and in this way the pot and column distillates are stored "side by side" in the barrels.
This 14-year-old rum is bottled at 51% alcohol and is in many ways an atypical Foursquare rum, as the rum is over 12 years old and bottled at a high alcohol percentage. At the distillery, you rarely store the rum for more than 12 years, and most bottles from Foursquare are also bottled by classic 40% alcohol. The rum was distilled back in 2002 and 14 years later, in 2017 the cask was bottled. There are only 225 bottles of this unique rum - a rum for the celebrities.
