This golden rum stored for 5 years on US 220 liter oak barrels previously used to store Bourbon Whiskey. Like the white Cubanacan, this rum is fermented and distilled on fresh sugar cane juice, "Guarapo", and not on molasses, like 95% of all rum is. A production form known from the so-called Rhum Agricole and Cachaca.
Cubanacan Añejo Superior 5 ans is, despite its young age, a surprisingly round and harmonious alcohol with a large bouquet and a taste of honey, sugarcane, toasted caramel and almonds.
This golden room can be enjoyed clean, with ice or mixed in the connaisseur's drinks and cocktails.
Can be recommended in a classic Daiquiri or an Añejo Highball with Cubanacan Orangerie
