This deep-dark rum is a mixture of young and older distillates mixed with a mother rum (which has an average storage age of 25 years) and various solera rums. This fusion of different rum has been carefully selected and mixed by Oliver & Oliver blenders. This rum is called Esplendido, which can be translated as "excellent" and it is also a rum that supports the claim. It's finished in used red wine barrels from France.
This rum has a welcoming scent of sweet pastries and toffee. A large rum with a broad-spectrum flavor composition that can be described as brown sugar and bold bourbon vanilla in harmonious interaction with the taste of American oak. The aftertaste has notes of cinnamon and caramelized fruit. A Premium rum that should be enjoyed neat.
