At Domaine de Rieston, Jean-Luc Deyres, son of Guy Deyres, produces Bas-Armagnac. Around the farm you will find 2.5 hectares of vineyards with about 15 year old vines with the Baco grape variety. Deyres distills the entire production itself, and works with a continuous distillation process where no more than 53% alcohol is obtained. For the cask storage, he use oak from the local forest.
Darroze Collection Unique Vintage 1995 Domaine de Rieston is bottled at 48.6% alcohol cask strength and consists of 100% Baco. This Bas-Armagnac has spent a full 23 years on oak barrels.
