At Domaine de La Poste they produces Tenareze-Armagnac, and not Bas-Armagnac. Around the farm you will find 60 hectares of vineyards with about 50 years old vines with the grape variety Ugni Blanc. Mikhalowsky distills the entire production and works with a continuous distillation process where only 55% alcohol is obtained. For the cask storage, they use oak from the local forest.
Darroze Collection Unique Vintage 1979 Domaine de La Poste is bottled at 47.4% cask strength and consists of 100% Ugni Blanc. Most of the distillation that took place at Domaine de La Poste happened in the 70s, which is also why Darroze has many different vintages from this house in their range.
